The Committee received a report, and suggestions from G3PWG Jack re overhead projectors and screens. After discussion it was felt similar results could be obtained at far less cost to the Society, further inquiries were suggested.
The anniversary of the opening of the new clubhouse was discussed, and it was decided to try to arrange a QSO with the Amateur Radio Club of Krefeld, (Leicesters Twin City), and the catering arrangements to be dealt with by Mick G4KKS.
Complaints have been received re darkness of the Car Park since the new building has been erected. It was decided to ask Ray G6NCJ for his advice.
An offer had been made to the club of a 58foot Tower, for £600, but whereas it would be an advantage, it would be difficult to obtain additional planning consent.
