Matters arising
The third gas fire in the HF room will be fitted Thursday 12th
December..
New Club Premises
With regard to the possibility of the Leicester City Challenge Project assisting in the obtaining of new club premises, we have been asked for a specification of the premises we will require. This will be provided ASAP.
Overseas Associate Membership (0AM)
The possibility of AOM is being investigated. The idea is that the AOM card is sponsored by certain commercial concerns, e.g. an hotel. When the AOM comes to this country and shows his card he gets a discount. Leicester RS gets a percentage. This to boost Club financial income. Marcia Brimson , RSGB Marketing Manager, has been told of our intentions..

Leicester Show Donation We have received a cheque for 2592 Pounds.. The Show committee thanked us for our efforts. The club committee also thanks those of you that helped.
Club Publicity
John , G7GCK has been invited to give a talk to the Salvation Army.
Club Trophies
The committee considered candidates for the Craythorne CW trophy and the G5UM trophy for up and coming new comer to the V/UHF bands. The decisions were difficult to make. The trophies will be presented at the AGM in January 97.
