Cliff G3PBC said that as there was likely to be a shortage of operators for NFD it seemed unwise to enter two stations this year so our entry would befor only one station.
A vigorous discussion followed on the ethics of using computers, etc. in contest stations but no general agreement was reached
VHF/UHF Portable Contest
Bob G8SZW joined the meeting to give a quick report of what had been organised. All seemed well under control. It was decided to hold a general meeting to brief operators the following week (21st April).
Aerials
G3MYI has an 88el multibeam for 70cm and an incomplete HF 3el beam for sale. G4CWY said he would approach John and inspect with a view to club purchase.
DF Hunt
The next DF hunt will be held on Sunday 20th April. With Mick G8VCT as the "fox". Arrangements as on previous events
