COMMITTEE MEETING
MONDAY 8th. June 1987
Members present - G4ITP Taff, G4PDZ Frank, G4IFB Gary, G0BAI Pete, G3TQF Geoff, and G4KKS Mick.
The new Vibroflex C.W. key has now been purchased and is available for the use of members.
The committee decided after much discussion that it would be economical to repair the small portakabin, with this in mind it was decided to seek tenders for the repairs, tenders to include GlUCN and G4KKS.
After much discussion it was agreed by the committee to invite R.A.T.S. to join L.R.S. for the V.H.F. Field day.
The Society have been invited to purchase a signal generator for use in the workshop, the committee agreed to the purchase subject to satisfactory inspection.
The question of a fan to expel the build up of Smoke in the C.W. room was again raised, Frank agreed to pursue.
The committee agreed the QSL card at present in use by L.R.S. was outdated, therefore it would be prudent to seek quotes for and updated version for both G3LRS and G6XRS.
