The regular meeting of the Leicester Radio Society was called to order at @20:00 03/02/2014 by Tony M3PYG Chair, Who welcomed the new committee

Car Park Flooding

Tony mentioned flooding of car park, In particular area where he normally parks, General discussion about a retaining wall lead by Dave who stated that a double wall and liner would be needed plus small drainage holes, Ongoing but Tony said it would be good to progress soon whilst ground is workable.

Car Park Damage by Contractors vehicles There has been considerable damage to the car park with deep ruts at the gateway turning points and Severe cuts to general Surface area. Russ

Lecture room venue hire Suggested by Tony general discussion on fixing prices Committee happy in principle

Note added by Alex post meeting (Though we need to be careful about insurance liabilities H&S Fire procedures etc)

Tony's Suggestion could be used for Funerals and possible wedding hire etc with charge to be made for provision of teas Suggested a fee of £30 initially and then on for £15 per hour

GB1OOL concluded with last QSO on CW as per 1914 Mike G4SJX wanted to express his thanks to all who had made our centenary celebrations a great success
