Present John & John, Duncan, Alex, Mike, Tony, Kevin & Paula.
Minutes from previous meeting 19 October accepted.
Duncan expressed his view that he wished to stand down as treasurer for 2010.
Tea & Cobs had produced a sum of £24.70 currently,
Thanks to all the sterling work by Tony and Paula.

Broadband & IT
Many thanks to John G27JG we now have a functional XP based machine in the VHF shack.
The sound card donated by John still needs installing.
It is hoped to provide another of exactly the same specification for the HF room. This already has sound cards but needs stripping of Programs and data as presently used by Alex for digital station.
Alex to asked committee to decide on whether to stay with BT for phone line, And another licensed operator for the Broadband.
Or for another licensed operator for both.
Reason being that if we decide to go with PlusNet for both broadband and line they do not offer Phone Barring facilities.
Historically we did have abuse of the BT Phone line cost of over £30 for calls to premium lines.
Problems with ORZ.Com

G2AA shows on ORZ as owned by PAOMIR Alex has mailed him to ask him to relinquish ownership if no reply will have to contact QRZ direct
Contests
Mike reminded committee that in January there is the AFS both CW and SSB.
RSGB Affiliated Societies Team Contests 2010 10th and 16th Jan
Perhaps with Kelvin in the club he could be asked to get a team for the CW event.
Mike and Alex happy to drive the SSB event,
Would be nice to see LRS appearing occasionally in the Contest news.
Mike had spoke to the RSGB regional rep with regard to a possible "Buildathon"

Alex is still having problems with RSGB still showing Tom Christmas as Sec, Despite mailing them to amend details. Have not had a reply
RSGB news not appearing in Radcom or News broadcasts despite being Sent in before deadline and receiving acknowledgement.
