There was a special meeting called on Monday 20th June 2016
It was attended by Pete Phil Tony Mike John Sandra and Paula
The council had reduced the rent from £1600 to £1250 and this was agreed
It was thought we could invite the council man to see what we do here at the club re training and meetings before we ask about repairs that need doing ( windows doors )
We also discussed liability about gas / as its disconnected at the moment
A letter would be written to say its been capped off by a gas safe person
Also a letter was to be sent to the council to ask about our lease and how long it was for and when was the renewal date
the problem of heating the house during this coming winter was brought up
its all cost driven we need to keep the bills down as much as possible
as lack of funds at the moment the teas/coffees cobs and choc bars are keeping the club going in more ways than one! All hail Paula and Tony
we also spoke about opening the club up on extra nights we need to make the club more desirable to get more members to join ( this had been brought up at last meeting and the open meeting)
for contests data and operating radio nights but the matter of key holders came up
and pin numbers for alarm system as there are only 3 or 4 of the committee that have access to open up and we have to rely on them being available

2, Has rig register been updated for new rig
3, Call signs being brought back under the radio clubs wings again
