1, The minutes from the last comittee meeting were read and accepted ,
Open meeting agenda
1, 5th -12th august yota youth on the air
It was thought we could have the special call on the Wednesday 9th august/ to ask for help at open meeting do you have youngsters or contact with a group please ask them to come along and take part.
2, Contest team uhf vhf and the ukeicc club contests
Also WAB going for gold club based activity
3, work parties still a lot of rubbish to get rid of and the
Pump up mast still not been looked at and sold
4, ideas for evenings /talks
5, doing our best to get the club mentioned in radcom and on Sunday news
6, donations thank you to all that put into the donation box on a weekly basis
7, are your subs due we are now half way through the year and some members have still not paid 2017 subs.
8,Insurance for the lecture room and clubs equipment
9, heating for this coming winter do we shut the house down in the winter or do we find some way of heating it
We need feed back from the membership,
10, Bring and buy on 7th august and quiz on 21st august
11, Wind up tower winch in need of repair/replacement
12, Plans for iota contest weekend 29th 30th july
13, health and safety on site / fire alarm muster point
14, antenna repairs and new antennas /cover for rotator
15, Alex would like to set up a remote station
16, we need to have a agreement with mr kinch and skoda garage on an informal basis Alex dealing with this.
