COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

The minutes were read from last meeting and were accepted
1, John spoke about a complaint that had been received by the RSGB the complaint was regarding abuse /verbal to 2 visitors to the club they had come to see about the foundation course and turned away we are not sure when this happened or the people involved, so nothing can be done at this time but it has been noted and it will be on the agenda for open meeting.
2, Council inspection went well they were very pleased with all the rewire and very happy we had put emergency lighting in.
3, fire extinguishers on site /we are not required to have them but if we do have them then we would have to be trained on how to use them, this would be on the agenda at open meeting.
4, Refurbish the kitchen and toilets need to decide with the membership the way forward with this and how much we spend also have a cooker put in for food nights, £1500 budget for both?
5, Christmas party /social evening ticket only and have a buffet Keiths wife Kerry happy to do the food this is to be on agenda for open meeting. Also set a price for the ticket
6, Alex been working really hard along with some club members to sort out the towers antennas
and renew all coax. Wants to reroute the windom
7, noise within and outside the club we have this ongoing problem with the neighbour about noise.
8, Mike spoke about skills evenings and this is to be on open meeting agenda to ask club members for there input and help,
9, YOTA dates / help and volunteers.
10, Phil has set up pay pal on web site for subs and donations,
11, offer on pump up mast £500 in 2 payments at open meeting members will be asked if they are in agreement.
12, local club collaboration how do we feel about this and what does the membership think?
13, Insurance renewal £1138.56 Mike will ask about reducing the value on the lecture room to see if the cost will be lower. Mike to use his own judgement as this needs to be paid,
14, Donations for car parking are coming in on a regular basis.

16, Phil is to get some prices for coax 2x 100 mtr rolls see if we can get a good price also some u bolts,
17, Sandra had a budget of £35 agreed for a banner
18, Training /courses how many do we want to run per year
19, Pete wants to organise a meal maybe in January all you can eat £13.95 a head to be mentioned at open meeting,
20, suggestion envelopes to be handed out at open meeting so membership can give some idea as to how they feel about the running of the club / any gripes / ideas.
