Pete opened the meeting and welcomed all present.
Mike spoke about membership and we have 9 full and
9 concession one generous concession member had paid £100
Rent out £312.00
Paypal had been set up as a charity so was not costing us any thing
and was up and running on the web site to take payment from new and renewing members
kitchen raised £36 in jan £47 in February and donation box raised £110 £11.935 is in bank account up to date all statements were in and all money accounted for
Mike reminded all to pay up there membership
G7DPU asked about an out standing unpaid invoice for Duncan
but mike had spoken to him and it was a donation to the club
23rd would be a curry night
Weather had been very bad so all work parties had been put on hold till it improved (kitchen and work around the building)
Ideas about how to promote the membership were asked for and we are looking for a location to hold a contest near a pub for the toilets /amenities.
The toilets are the priority job for this year as leaking pipes and water meter no hand washing equipment
18th April world amateur radio day open up the club rooms for the day encourage some of the members to come and operate
Mick Morris our President not been very well so stepped down as president
Many thanks to Mick and it is hoped he gets well soon,
The President position was offered to Adam G0ORY
Adam was happy to take on the role and said he would take great pride in doing his best for the club.
And it was introduced that there would be a Presidents night
near to the clubs birthday as possible T.B.A.
the raffle was drawn at 19.55
