COMMITTEE MEETING Mon 14th May
Present:

meeting opened at 8 pm.
Last committee meeting notes were read and accepted
and a signed a copy was put up on the notice board in lecture room,
Electric certificate had been paid £120 inc vat.
Membership still down but slowly coming in.
once all work improvements to club are done its hoped this will bring in more members.
Work parties building work it was decided to concentrate on the toilets first
and if there was any time left other work would be pulled in,
the roller shutter had been getting worse over the last few months it had been looked at and seemed to be a little better but it was noted it is only a matter of time before a new one or repairs to the one we have would be needed,
Chris has a friend who could supply us with a window and door,
Pete explained what he would like to do to the toilet building
take out middle wall keep the bricks to be cleaned and reused where necessary, brick up left hand door put a small window in on left and keep the best door with good brick work above it
a toilet would be put in far left side a wash hand basin with hot and cold water ( cold first hot water heater fitted later )
the hot water heater is in the house already,
a budget of £500 was agreed by all the committee and all work was agreed by the committee
the labour of course is no charge as all done by club members
and given freely,
Tony is providing a cement mixer
Pete is going to order gravel cement and sand,
work will start on the drop in thursday 31st may,
kitchen to be put on hold until toilet done that is priority as we have talks planned.
All info will be put on web site asking for help from the membership,
When the new door is fitted keys would have to be cut
and given to committee members who need them,
John spoke about special call for royal wedding gr2aa
over the weekend of the wedding and how the club would be open during the monday all day and into the night after the talk by jim (bbc)
