OPEN MEETING JUNE 17TH 2018

Meeting was opened at 1950hrs
- Pete opened the meeting by reading the last open meeting notes and all was agreed
- Pete spoke about what we had done since the last open meeting,
- The membership were happy with the work so far and there was some finishing off to be done,
- Kitchen units and work surfaces are all in water heater now installed
- 23rd June and 2nd July food night T. B. A.
- We have now run out of spare money for jobs so fund raising must be done to continue.
- John spoke about 23rd and 24th June pumping station special event GB0APS and appealed for help from the membership. Hoping to run 2mtr HF and DMR stations
- John also hoping to run special call in Nov GB2LWF, 2 Days from club rooms.
- Mike spoke about the special call we had been running on different days from the club rooms G6XX Football World Cup.
- IOTA contest coming up in July,
- Mike also asked if the membership would be quiet during lectures and talks.
- Membership 36 members £200 down on last year’s subs so far.
- £11,175.93 in bank
- £750 from car park so far this year,
- £80 training money
This was the accounts as end of May. It was not sure of the total spend so far for the toilets and the kitchen.
- Lorraine was concerned about the work stopping and donated £100 towards work for the kitchen and the membership were asked to please keep putting change and all donations in donation box,
- The water meter needs repairing / ongoing
- Dave G7DPU thanked all those who has put time effort and given money and materials to help with the work at the club.
- Polly and Tony were thanked for working in such conditions.
- The membership were asked if there was any other items or suggestions there were none
