Pete opened the meeting and welcomed every one present.
And last open meeting notes were read out and all agreed.
Barbara was concerned about the
speed that the work was being done in the club Kitchen /Toilets and general work around the club it was thought maybe we had taken on to many jobs at the same time but it was explained to Barbara and the members present that the cost was the main factor and the jobs were being done as and when we had fund raised the money and also a factor was when people /members were available to do the work,
no money had been taken from club funds.
Alex spoke about the freedom care home being sold and under new management and the car park had been full some Monday evenings
he was going to have a word with them and explain about Monday evenings and other times when the club has special events on,

last year at this time we had 52 members membership is down but it is hoped we will pick up more members when building work finished.
Barbara has got us a great cooker hob and floor covering for the kitchen and toilet to be put down last.
Thanks were given to Barbara for her work locating the items and for the cleaning of the club rooms
Christmas party Kerry and Keith doing the food again as last years was such a success. Raffle prizes were asked for
GB2LWF special call been running to remember 100 years end of ww1 thanks were given to all that helped and took part 542 contacts world wide a qsl card will be produced with the help of james and other members.
.We have had 2 stations at the pumping station the vintage weekend and the sea side special
we took part in top band contest 10th nov we came 6th thanks to all that took part
IOTA contest we won our section again well done all.
We are also entering 2mtrs 70cms 4mtrs 6mtrs and 23cms the club is getting well known and the 2mtr and 70cm antenna had been working great,
we are also entering the ukeicc contests and we are doing very well and creeping up the score board,
over the last 2 years the club is getting well known.
