Chris opened the meeting and the
Minutes and accounts were read from the last open meeting and all accepted
Kitchen work has really got going in the last few weeks and nearly completed,
Dave has been working very hard in the vhf shack and it is nearly ready for a paint up.
Alex has been getting Ariel and tower work under way.
And it was noted 2 scaffold poles had gone missing and board was asked for if any one had got any to donate to the club,
Sandra has got some sheets of board and a few scaffold pole but only short ones chris will pick them up in the van,
Contest have been going great and we are going up the rankings we could do better and the more that take part the better the scores,
The special call GB5EHL is on course for July starting 1st july till 28th july
peter is going to sort qsl card for the event.
All club members are asked to help with activating the call sign as many times as we can from the club
we have been asked to visit the south nots club on 24th April but it had been declined as this fell on a contest night hope we can arrange something else,
Dave our projects manager has come up with a cw keyer as the first construction item
and the membership were asked if they wanted to take part and have a go at building to give dave there names so he had some idea of numbers and he would work on the price,
Membership numbers are low up to now 25 paid up and Phil wasn't sure if there were any more paid through paypal.

Dave g7dpu had asked about the finishing of jobs and a final estimate of costs
Chris explained this would be hard to estimate and a lot of the materials had been donated and were still being donated
Adam commented that the club is a great asset and said it would be a shame if we were to lose it
The membership were asked to pay there subs if they hadn't already done it.
Ideas for fund raising events were asked for
Training had been going ok and the intermediate course running at the moment would be the last of this syllabus
Alan passed the full /advanced call and is applying for his dads call g6hpd
Foundation course starts this Wednesday 3rd April
Notice to be on the notice board only the training team and kitchen staff to attend during the training nights.
The membership were asked for questions and suggestions nothing was offered,
The special event station call sign to be opened up to other clubs and non members to help swell the numbers and encourage other people to maybe join the club.
