Minutes of last meeting read & agreed
Committee felt N.F.D. had gone smoothly, and successfully. Thanks to cooperation of members.
Further revision of logging system next year.
Complaint
A club member complained that he had not had notification of N.F.D. and location. This was discussed by the committee, who thought that publicity had been reasonable, although individual notifications had not been sent out due to postal costs.
Lecture to Young Conservatives
A request for a lecture to the Young Conservatives on Thursday 4th Sept was accepted. G5UM to be approached for possible assistance.
New Members
A Cordial welcome is extended to :-

Half Yearly Subscriptions
The treasurer pointed out that once again subs are due from members, and has undertaken to produce a list to be pinned on the notice board.
LAFLA & Abbey Park Show
The club was invited to enter the Abbey Park Show with the L.A.F.L.A. This was turned down in view of our established entry and possible power, and aerial problems with another site.
Field Day Tents
The secretary proposed a £2 donation to the scouts at St. Peters Belgrave in view of their kind load of tents for field day.
Approved.
N.F.D. Site
The secretary proposed a letter of thanks to the farmer of Arnesby Lodge - Approved.
V.H.F. N.F.D.
The committee received a kind offer of 70cm & 4m equipment from G5UM via the treasurer. This to be the subject of a meeting to confirm our contest entry on Monday 20th June at the club. All members invited to the discussions.
