1, Club call signs G2AA
John G0IJM has been in touch with ofcom and is in the process of getting death certificate so we can take back control of the call sign.
In the mean time G2AA cannot be used as it is revoked until all paper work has been done.
G3LRS is still held by Roger and G5UM by Derek
it was decided by the committee that a letter should be drafted
and signed by the holders of the club call signs so if they left the club the call signs are put back into the club domain.
2,it was decided by the committee to let G6XRS lapse
as it is never used.
3, a substantial donation was received by the club from home at the back
for use of the car park for there staff it was agreed this was a good thing for the club makes it look like someone at house also helps club funds.
4, There was a building inspection at the club by Mr Robinson from Leicester council some issues about electrics and toilets were noted
and more on this when we know more
Mike G4SJX John G0IJM john M0CQV were present some repairs were carried out on the mast cables that had come adrift.
5, heating for the winter at the club was put on hold till more info about building inspection was known.
6, the committee decided that codes and alarm system should be sorted before the next committee meeting.
7, All money held by John G0IJM had been refunded to members and Dave G7DPU was now in control of club wear .
8, Themed nights were mentioned and mike to run a what to do with your new licence night aimed at new foundation licence holders.
9, BBQ to be held on monday 15th aug donations would be asked for.
10, the club grounds look amazing thanks to Trevor what a good job he has done MANY THANKS TREVOR.
11, the committee said we must have a massive clean up of vhf room and lecture room before Train the trainers day 19th November 2016.
12, Roles of the committee was looked at and would be discussed at a later date.
13, All outstanding debts have been paid Rainbows / John Healey .
14, A rotator was offered to the club but it was decided not to buy it.
15, The container should be looked at as it is rotten the roof is falling in.
16, A list of items was handed to a committee member and was duly noted
and would be looked at.
17, The intermediate course is the next training course
and it was said that only those enrolled on the course and trainers should be on club site because of distractions.
18, Health and safety was discussed and it was decided that it is mainly common sense and we should all consider all club members safety at all times.
19, It was mentioned about special event station at abbey pumping station
sea side special.
