(brief )Minutes from last meeting.

1. New Radio FT 3000 purchased TS590 sold
2. 51 paid up members
3. Donations to be paid to Rainbows and John Eleys estate
4. IOTA upcoming
5. New computers
6. Foundation course completed and immediate to start
7. Heating arrangements on hold
8. Club calls to be sorted as OFFCOM require club held calls to be held by club members
9. Both HF and VHF beams need some maintained also VHF Shacks
10. Call for more enthusiasm from members maybe some themed talks to facilitate this
11. Council Rental increase to £1600 reduced on appeal to £1250/ Many thanks to Mike G4SJX for this. This should hold for next 5 years.

4. Discussion regarding Bad language and Abuse to a visitor (RSGB REP) who was here on a personal capacity. He was not treated with the courtesy and respect one would expect from members. Bad language and abuse must stop, It is not acceptable it is not funny. It is not acceptable.
5.  57 Paid up members including life members eas £498 plus £120 and <£100 from barbeques
6. 30^th October Haloween Pastie and Peas £1.50 per person . Plus opportunity to make donations for Xmas hamper
7.  Reminder regarding “Radio RAFFLE”
8. Training presented by John G0IJM Intermediate course December examination. Also foundation
9. John G0IJM LRS Hosting training for trainers day 25 candidates and 5 reserve. Club will provide tea and coffee date 19^th November (Saturday)
10. G2AA now held on behalf of club by John G0IJM
11. G3LRS G5UM to be held by existing holders
12. “now I got my licence- what next?” Session to be arranged on a Thursday evening
13. Seaside special at Abbey Pumping station was held in September.
14. Abbey pumping station now has a permanent HF Antenna installation. 120ft and 9:1 balun
15. A successful IOTA activation from Club HQ in July
16. YOTA planned for December Holidays. (GB17YOTA)
17. Peter Heating Ideas? Costs?  As this is a significant undertaking to be presented to the full membership at the January AGM
18. Sandra is looking at lottery funding equipment grant possibilities.
19. Looking at donations from past members  towards heating requirements £450-£500 heating wiring requirements.
20. £300 per room air conditioning
21. Portable trailer mast for sale at £1200
